ECO-FRIENDLY PET AFTERCARE AND DISPOSITION

Giving our community an alternative to the standard pet cremation service is the foundation of our business. We chose Aquamation as our form of disposition because of its gentleness on your pet and our earth. Individual Aquamations and our disk tracking system allow us to ensure the integrity of the remains we return to you, and gives us the cleanest material to return to the earth for those who do not wish to receive remains. PERSONALIZED TRANSITION AND TRANSPORTATION

We realize death can be unexpected, and we are here to guide you through the process whenever it occurs. Resting Waters is committed to helping you in every way possible during your time of grief. We welcome you to bring your pet directly to our aftercare center located in West Seattle. We can also arrange to pick-up your pet either at your home, or a veterinary clinic of your choosing.

Transportation

We offer transport from most locations in the Greater Seattle Metropolitan area to our facility. The below serves as an approximate guide for our pricing structure as fees for body transfer depend on location and the type of aftercare requested. Please contact us for an accurate and personalized quotation.

Individual Aquamation
  • Complimentary transfer of your deceased pet to our facility is available from any location within West Seattle and White Center.
  • Pick up from any location within the Seattle city limits is $50.

If you are experiencing a pet medical emergency, here is a list of 24 hour emergency vets in the greater Seattle metropolitan area.

We employ pet stretchers, blankets, and individual compartments in our vehicles, paying reverence to the life that once was. Showing respect and dignity in death begins at the moment we receive your loved one.

MEMORIAL SERVICES

Memorializing and remembering your pets after they pass away can be very beneficial during the healing process. Our animals are family members and can continue to be treated as such in death. Honoring our pets can help us deal with the sadness we feel from the void of such a significant loss. Resting Waters offers you the chance to say your final goodbye to your beloved companion with a viewing set-up by us for your family and friends in our peaceful mourning space. For those looking to celebrate the life of their pet, we offer memorial services that can be customized to fit your specific cultural or spiritual needs.
